Home Instead Senior Care is an independently owned and operated franchise here in Lake Charles.  We provide non-medical in-home care and personal care for seniors. The business is locally owned and operated by George Cestia. The goal of HISC is to help seniors stay home and stay independent.  We provide care in the home, in the nursing home, and in the hospital and/or assisted living facility. Services are paid for thru private pay, workers compensation insurance and long term care insurance. Our caregivers are employees that are screened, trained, insured, bonded, background checked and drug tested. They are dependable, reliable and professional. General Companionship Rates are hourly with a minimum of 4 hours per day. This includes the following services:
• Companionship
• Meal Preparation
• Medicine Reminders
• Light house keeping, Errands, and Transportation
• Assistance with activities of daily living and personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulating and toileting
• Overnight care in the hospital, home, nursing home & assisted livings
• 24 hour care in the hospital, home, nursing home, & assisted livings
Overnights
Overnights are charged hourly in the home or hospital. Hours are extremely flexible and are created based on clients’ wishes. Overnights can be scheduled for 1 day or multiple days. Below are a few different options:
• 8 hour overnight
• 10 hour overnight
• 12 hour overnight
Rise and Shine and Tuck in Service
This is a two hour shift that can take place in the morning, in the evening or both. It is a viable option for those that need only a few things done in a short amount of time. Each shift is charged at a flat fee daily.
