Southwest Manufactured Housing, Inc. opened in April, 1985 at its present location.  For over 22 years, Southwest Homes has been owned and operated by Preston "Lee" Duplichan Jr.  A southwest Louisiana native, Lee has appreciated the people and the culture of this area all of his 54 years.  Lee was born in Kinder, LA--moved to Sulphur and after graduating from McNeese State University, settled in Lake Charles to live and raise his family.  Lee married a local girl and they have one daughter who attends McNeese State University.

The community of SWLA is rich in its culture, its people are hardworking and demand only to be treated honestly, truthfully and fairly.

Lee Duplichan built his business on those same principles.  His business philosophy is to treat customers like family and when you do something, do it right.
